ZmistX — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 May 2026
ZmistX is a Chrome side-panel tool that helps you manage your own Facebook
ad accounts using your existing Facebook login. This policy explains what the
extension accesses and where that data goes.
What the extension accesses (on your device)
- Facebook session / authentication data — your Facebook access token and cookies.
Used only to call the Facebook Graph API on your behalf and to let you view and copy your
own session in the Token/Cookies panel.
- Two-factor (TOTP) secret — only if you choose to enter one; used to generate your
login codes locally on your device.
- Your Facebook identity — your name and user ID, stored locally for display.
- Your advertising data — ad accounts, campaigns, budgets, spend, Pages and product
catalogs, retrieved from the Facebook Graph API for display.
Where data goes
- Facebook (graph.facebook.com / facebook.com): your own data, to operate the extension.
- Currency-rate services (open.er-api.com, api.exchangerate-api.com): only currency
codes, to convert spend totals. No personal data is sent.
- Spend Export (off by default, opt-in): if you enable it and configure an endpoint,
the extension sends your adset-level spend data only to the endpoint you specify
(your own server). It is sent nowhere else.
What we do not do
- We (the developer) do not receive, collect, sell, rent or share your data.
- No advertising, analytics or behavioral tracking.
- Data is not transferred to third parties, nor used to determine creditworthiness.
Storage & control
All data is stored locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local). You can remove
it at any time by clearing the extension's data or uninstalling the extension.
